『FIFA ストリート』でストリートネットワーク機能の実装が決定

　エレクトロニック・アーツ（EA）は、3月22日に発売するPS3用ソフト『FIFA ストリート』で“ストリートネットワーク”機能を搭載することを明らかにした。

　本作は、同社の『FIFA』のプレイエンジンを投入している本格的なストリートサッカーゲーム。舞台となるのは全世界35カ所以上で、リオネル・メッシ選手をはじめとする有名サッカークラブのスター選手や、実在のストリートサッカー選手も登場する。開発は『FIFA』シリーズと同じEAカナダスタジオが担当している。

　新たに発表されたストリートネットワークとは、プレイヤー間の交流をさらに増やすための機能だ。プレイを動画で撮影して簡単にフレンドに見せたり、フレンドの進行状況を追跡したりといったことが可能になる。従来の『FIFA』シリーズタイトルよりも、さらにフレンドとの交流が深まりそうだ。
